At MWM, we recognize struggling with weight is a chronic, medical condition. The good news is, there are safe and effective treatments now available. Our program provides behavioural and medical treatment that is tailored to your individual needs, aimed at helping you reach your Best Weight.

The MWM Foundation Program™ is 6 months, and provides intensive foundational support and treatment. This includes live consultations with our team of doctors and dietitians. Best of all, our program is delivered virtually (by phone or by video chat), so accessing care is convenient! Each of our modules is designed to guide you step-by-step through your weight management journey.

Weight management is a life-long journey, so our approach focuses on sustainability – helping you make real and lasting progress.

We offer flexible payment options:

* program costs are eligible for coverage under some private insurance plans. We issue receipts for dietitian appointments and other program costs may be eligible for coverage under general health care spending accounts if applicable.

Our program is subject to eligibility criteria. Please confirm the following:

• You are 18 years or older
• You have a family physician or nurse practitioner that oversees your care
• You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• You do not have a diagnosed, active eating disorder
• You have not had bariatric surgery within the last 5 years
• You do not have an active mental health condition that would impact in your ability to participate fully in the program

The following consent is really critical so you know how important your personal information is to us and how we protect it. Please take the time to read the following and provide consent if you agree. To enroll you into the Medical Weight Management Centre of Canada (MWM) weight management program, you agree to provide your contact information and some personal health information as it relates to weight management. Any personal or health information that you provide is consent-based and is securely stored and used for the purpose of delivering the MWM services. We will communicate with your family physician and with your pharmacy in order to provide you optimal care. The information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available here. Your information will be retained in accordance with strict laws and regulations governing health professionals.
